1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how CITRICLOUD (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on citricloud.com and related Services.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If you have questions, email admin@citricloud.com with subject “Cookies”.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate the site securely, remember preferences (for example theme), keep you signed in where applicable, and understand aggregated usage where analytics are enabled.
We do not use cookies to sell personal data. Optional analytics or marketing cookies, if introduced, will be disclosed and controlled via a consent mechanism where required by law.
4. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary: required for authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and core site features. These generally do not require consent.
Preferences: remember choices such as theme (light/dark) or language so the experience stays consistent across visits.
Analytics (if enabled): help us understand traffic and product usage in aggregate. Where required, we request consent before setting non-essential analytics cookies.
Marketing (if enabled): used only with consent to measure campaigns. We currently prioritize first-party, privacy-minded measurement over invasive tracking.
5. Examples
Session and authentication cookies that keep dashboard sessions secure.
CSRF or security tokens that protect forms and authenticated actions.
Preference cookies or local storage keys for theme and UI settings.
If analytics are enabled: a first-party analytics identifier with a reasonable retention period, documented at introduction.
6. Third-party cookies
Some pages may load content or services from trusted processors (for example fonts, payment, or embedded status). Those providers may set their own cookies under their policies.
Marketplace or third-party apps you enable may use their own technologies. Their cookie and privacy practices apply to that processing.
7. How to control cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert). Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, security, or preference features.
Where a consent banner or preference center is provided, you can withdraw or update non-essential cookie choices at any time.
Device-level controls and privacy plugins may also limit tracking; results vary by browser.
8. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser or after a short idle timeout.
Persistent cookies and similar storage expire according to their purpose — preference cookies may last months; analytics identifiers (if used) are retained only as long as needed for measurement, then rotated or deleted.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
Material changes to non-essential cookies will be reflected in consent controls where required.
10. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy: admin@citricloud.com with subject “Cookies” or “Privacy”.
